The airport was 10 minutes drive from the place. Queen room with refrigerator, good WiFi connection plus a gas fireplace was ready when we checked-in. It was convenient, and employees were helpful and kind.

Hotel was easy to find, it was clean and tidy and access into Monterey was straightforward, although about 2 miles to walk in.
Hotel staff not very friendly, they didn't seem to be aware that we were arriving, no introduction to the hotel, no explanation about the facilities, the room, breakfast, Monterey etc, we were just asked to 'sign here' and given the keys. Such a poor reception came as a surprise because by this stage in our holiday we had become so used to receiving a typical cheery 'have a nice day welcome' American welcome (but then I guess maybe not every day is a nice day....). The hotel is not in an ideal location, there are no facilities (restaurants etc) in close proximity, you can't really sit outside the room with a coffee etc, it's quite walk into town (about 2 miles) and is located right on the main road. It's fine as a base to sleep and go out

Very clean and close by car to downtown Monterey.
The walls of the room were very thin and we could clearly hear our neighbours talking.

Our queen room was equipped with fridge and good WiFi connection, for instance. The staff was amicable and awesome all the time...

I had fab stay, the place is little!
Its location was marvellous and cool, short walk to the outskirts of where most would want to be, and all the important places in Monterey. Besides, this hotel was located 3 km away from Abraj al Bait Mall Towers.

I came to go fishing, and the hotel was wright down from the marina. That made it very easy.
The bed we had felt like we where on a trampoline. That was the only thing we had a problem with. We where in room 105

Cozy Stay Near the Beach
The room was comfortable with a heater and TV. A stroll to the nearby beach brought us beautiful sunset views. Don't miss out on the local farmers market. It's a gem for tasty snacks! Just a heads-up, bring your own coffee.

The cost for the room was great. The room was clean and the location was great. The towels and pillows were lousy but overall I was very satisfied and I would stay there again.
Just the extremely poor quality of the towels and pillows.

convenient spot near parks and attractions for weekend explorers
I really appreciated how close this place was to Del Monte Beach, just a short 500 meters away, and the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail, made my morning walks refreshing and scenic. The spacious queen room provided a comfortable base for my solo adventures throughout those beautiful spots nearby.

It's not too far from downtown.
Their breakfast is basically donuts and other junk food.

The owner of the motel say seem a bit abrupt but on talking with them thats just her way, the room was spotless and they moved us without a problem when we found out kids were staying nearby, all in all a pleasant place to stop off....
The location far from downtown.
